Meet Timothy B. Kaltaler, DDS

A Central New York native, Dr. Timothy Kaltaler is a proud 1998 Liverpool Central School District alumnus and happy to serve patients from his hometown and surrounding communities. Following his time as a Liverpool Warrior, Dr. Kaltaler earned his bachelor’s degree with honors in biology from Le Moyne College. As an undergraduate, he worked as a phlebotomist and discovered his passion for medicine, as well as his ability to create comfortable experiences for patients. During his time studying dentistry at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Kaltaler participated in several externships including a unique program in Pyramid Lake, Nevada focused on treating the underserved. After graduating cum laude with a doctor in dental surgery degree, Dr. Kaltaler was selected to participate in a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Denver, Colorado where he gained additional training in dental implants.

Dr. Kaltaler has been practicing dentistry since 2007 and is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Onondaga Dental Society. He attends seminars regularly on new developments in dentistry and enhanced cosmetic practices. Most recently, Dr. Kaltaler participated in continuing education courses at the Zimmer Institute in New Jersey and the Dawson Academy in Florida.

When not at the office, you can find Dr. Kaltaler with family and friends. Whether he’s fishing on Oneida Lake, biking at Onondaga Lake Park, cheering on the Orange in the Dome, or skiing the slopes, Dr. Kaltaler enjoys the Greater Syracuse area’s year-round outdoor opportunities. Dr. K resides in Baldwinsville with his wife, daughter, son, and mini goldendoodle, Maizey.
